Enjoy it with us.* *Dinner is open to member candidates and guests. Post meetings are closed to non-members. We serve the veterans and community of Chapel Hill and neighboring communities. Our members come from Chatham, Orange and Durham Counties. They come because we have not only a premiere facility, but we have some of the finest veterans you will meet. Our post is privileged to have active veterans who saw combat on Iwo Jima, flew combat missions in Europe and Asia, served on ships in both the Army (yes, they have ships too) and Navy, protected our coast lines, and served in every corner of the globe and all over this great land of ours. You are welcome to meet them and build new lifelong friendships. The American Legion has a long history of service to our veterans, but we also have programs to serve and support our communities, our neighborhood, and our youth. We encourage you to learn more about the American Legion. It will motivate you to join us in our quest to promote Americanism. Why not drop by for our monthly meeting and join us for dinner. We meet the second Tuesday of each month. Social gathering starts at 6 p.m. and we dine at 7 p.m. Call 919-942-2252 to let us know you are coming and we will set a place for you! |
